Plot of The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist
Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Teneseiki, also known as The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World, tells the story of Haruyoshi, who is the best occultist in the world.
When he is betrayed by his companions, finding himself on the verge of death, he has only the desire to live happily in his next life, so he performs a reincarnation spell.
Thus, he passes into a new world, being born into a family of wizards, and retaining his occult powers. His new family does not consider his powers to be a magical ability, as everything is very different from what he had known before, but he decides that he does not need anything from that new world, and decides to live happily with his own occult arts.

Season 2 of The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World could become a reality at any moment.
At the moment, there is no official confirmation about a second season of Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Teneseiki. The anime is based on a light novel series by Kiichi Kosuzu. The light novel became a series on December 26, 2018, and five volumes have been released through August 2023.
The first season of the anime aired from January 7, 2023 to April 1, 20232. It is unclear how much of the original material was covered in the first season and whether there is enough material left for a second season.
Season 2 release date
Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Teneseiki season 2 is expected to be released in late 2024, or early 2025.
Crunchyroll has yet to gauge how its audience welcomes season 1 before releasing any news about season 2.
